London: Hanging out with the Mahesh Family

Gallery

Since London was home base on our trip to Italy, we had a few days before the vacation and a week after with Suba, Mahesh and family in London.

Our recovery from Jet lag from flying to SFO to LON was filled with playing with Bubbles, eating way too much of Subas yummy cooking, and the occasional evening walk with Bubbles to the nearby Firs farm Wetlands and Park.

What better way to recover from Jet Lag than video games with the cousins

In our week back from London, along with a few visits to Mahesh’s parents house, and to enjoy their company, hospitality and delicious food, there were a few trips out into town.

A trip to Fortnum and Mason, to buy snacks, tea, and gifts. A sidequest to visit the Lego store was dashed due to the store being closed for renovation. We ended up walking through chinatown instead and getting boba.

Look, some pretty flowers in front of some more flowers ....Ooooooh

A trip so Tejas could check “Seeing the Big Ben” off the list, since it had scaffolding on the last time we visited. We made a brief stop in the National gallery to sample a small bit of the truly astonishing amount of “Stuff the British Stole” (The podcast of the same name is amazing BTW).

15 seconds after exiting the tube station - OK. I saw Big ben, we can go home now

A Visit to Trent park in the evening, and a dinner at a nice English Pub named “Robin Hood”

A wonderful re-union after 3 years apart thanks to Covid. We miss you all. Wish we could see each other more often.
