Mexico for Christmas and New Year 2026

We planned a trip to Mexico city and Cancun for winter break. It was nice to have Parents come along on vacation after a long time. A relaxing vacation, we took it a little slower, partially for Parents, but mostly because a lot of days were holidays and things were just closed for the day.

Mexico city was filled with culture and food. Museums, historic sites and a variety of restaurants (and cuisines) and lots of neighborhood walks. The La Condesa neighbourhood is truly nice.

Cancun was a tourist paradise. Hotels and resorts everywhere the eye could see. But the beach, sun and ocean provided us with ample opportunities for fun and experiences.
